Product profile

CALIMA® NATURAL OFFSET sugarcane paperboard is a sustainable alternative for environmentally conscious packaging. It is made from 90% sugarcane bagasse and 10% certified wood fibers. The bagasse is a by-product of sugar production and is upcycled into paperboard.

The pulp is produced in an odorless process without bleaching or whitening chemicals, reducing water and energy consumption as well as CO₂ emissions, effluent, and waste. All fibers used are fresh, ensuring food-grade quality. The wood pulp is FSC-certified and produced under TCF (Totally Chlorine Free) standards.

The paperboard is available in 130, 160, 200, 250, 300, 350, and 400 g/m², with sheet sizes of 72 × 102 cm (long grain) and 102 × 72 cm (short grain). It is produced in China and distributed in Europe, the United States, and Latin America by CALIMA GmbH, Germany
